I’m an economics PhD candidate at Columbia. My interests are in development, the environment, political economy, and their intersections. Previous work includes projects estimating productivity impacts of climate change and investigating poverty-mapping applications of computer vision. My most impactful work is a one-sentence joke that was meant for my book-club friends.
I grew up in Manila, Jakarta, and Ho Chi Minh City. Since then, I’ve studied or worked in New York, London, Shanghai, Stanford, and Oxford.
Feel free to email me with comments or ideas. I’m keen to engage with researchers with related interests and am happy to advise pre-doctoral students and graduates considering a similar career path.
